Installation
-------------
This scenario was made with MGE but will probably work
with Fantastic Worlds and CiC as well.

Make a new folder under your scenarios folder (which is inside your civ2
folder). Call the folder whatever you want.
Put all the files you downloaded in your new folder, and play.

Notes
-----
This scenario is basically an update of the Rome Scenario that comes
with Civ 2.
The railroad in Italy is suppose to represent the Appian Way.

Three of the wonders are a bit more obscure "Eudoxus's Expedition"
"Hipparchus's Observatory" and "Hiero's Workshop"

For those of you who don't know:

Eudoxus of Cyzicus:
fl. 130 B.C., Greek navigator in the service of the Ptolemies. He explored the Arabian Sea for
Ptolemy VII. After being blown from his course to the east coast of Africa, he decided that Africa
could be circumnavigated. Setting out from Gades (Cdiz), he was driven
ashore at Morocco on a first voyage. He undertook a second voyage down
the west coast of Africa and was never heard from again.

Hipparchus of Nicaea:
2d cent. B.C., Greek astronomer, b. Nicaea, Bithynia. He is the first systematic astronomer of
whom there are records. He made his observations chiefly on the island of Rhodes. Ptolemy's
geocentric theory of the universe was based largely on the conclusions of Hipparchus, a record of
whose researches is preserved in the Almagest of Ptolemy. In it Hipparchus is credited with the
discovery of the precession of the equinoxes. He is believed to have been the first to make
systematic use of trigonometry, and he computed a table of chords roughly equivalent to
trigonometrical sines.

Heiro(more commonly spelled Hero or Heron) of Alexandria:
mathematician and inventor. The dates of his birth and death are unknown; conjecture places them
between the 2d cent. B.C. and the 1st cent. A.D. He is believed to have
lived in Alexandria; although he wrote in Greek, his origin is uncertain.
Several of his works survive either in Greek or in Latin translation. He
wrote on the measurement of geometric figures, and a formula for finding
the area of a triangle has been ascribed to him. Known for his study of
mechanics and pneumatics, he invented many contrivances operated by water,
steam, or compressed air; these include a fountain, a fire engine, siphons,
and an engine in which the recoil of steam revolves a ball or a wheel.
