README FILE FOR THE "FOUR WARRING MONARCHS" SCENARIO
Written on WordPad by Chris Yoder

My name is Chris Yoder, and I'm 11 years old. My e-mail address is
rrhoads@lancnews.infi.net.This scenario was designed by me and is totally
fictional. If you liked this scenario, check out my scenario called
"Cycivwar". It's on Civ2 Heaven(http://www.heavenweb.com/modheavn/index.htm.
That site is closing down in July, however, so go there before that date or
you're out of luck. I am, however, making an update to that which will be
posted on the UCIVII site(hopefully). Remember-Feedback via an e-mail is
always welcome!

This scenario is best used with the "Conflicts in Civilization" Scenarios CD.
The "events.txt" file won't be used if you don'thave the CD. You still
can play the scenario, however. The units in the units.gif file marked with
"CY" were drawn by me. Some units in the units.gif file are different than
those provided by Microprose, but aren't used in my scenario. These
are just the units I have in my units file when I play a normal game of
Civ2. The one marked "JH" were drawn by John Herron(norreh@advant.com).

				HINTS AND TIPS

You need to score 28 objective points to win this scenario. That means you
must capture the rocky fortress of Lahore to get a decisive victory.
Capturing Lahore can be tricky. It's best to wait until you have Super
Technology(and siege engines). The best way to capture Lahore is to land
on the south side(the side closest to Lahore itself). There are no units on
one corner. Land there with a good attacker(catapult, siege engine) and a
good defensive unit(spearmen, axmen). These units should preferably be
veterans. That's all I have to say, except that I hope you like this
scenario.
