^
^Your name is Diocleatin, and you have just been voted Emperor of Rome. From the
^looks of things you may be the last. Your predisessors have bankrupt Rome with lavish
^spending. Your senators are buisy enjoying each other in the baths. Few allys and a
^laundry list of enemies translates to the shit is hitting the fan. Can you Raise the
^spirits of your citizens and keep the heathens at bay?
^Its time for 'Vini, Verdi, lay the smack'!
^
^Play is ballenced for the Romans, everyone else may be too easy.
^
^If you arn't going to listen to me, stay away from the weak Picts_Scots and Mauri.
^
^OBJECT: As a Roman in this turbulant time, you goal is just to preserve your empire.
^Namely the cities Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria and Carthage. As protangonist you
^will probably spend most of your time taking back your own cities. If you can last till
^508 AD Europe wont enter the Dark Ages and you will have estabished a peace the makes
^Augusta look like a warmongering clown.
^
^^SPECIAL NOTES
^ Government switching is not permitted
^ Although not restricted, would you really want to make peace with a pagan savage?
^
^^OF SPECIAL INTEREST
^This scenario cries out for a new line of troops. Namely Auxilery and allies for the
^Roamns and a few classes of specialized Barbarians for the other tribes. Needless to
^say I haven't gotten the hang of the sprites so if anyone wants a project I'd appreciate
^it. Also, if anyone can tell me how to adjust the Rules.txt to keep the tribes from
^organizing peace treaties with the Romans, I'd be much ablieged.
