   ===================
   EasyMod Version 3.3
   ===================

Run the executable from the top level of your CTP folder.

Changes in version 3.3:
-------------------------
-Correctly determines allowed advances/units/improvements when these have been changed in EasyMod.
Previously, the original dependencies were sometimes shown. This bug did not affect output files.
-No longer crashes when trying to duplicate an advance with prerequisites (!)
-Advanced "allowed" list specifies advance (A), unit (U), government (G), improvement (I),
wonder (W), or terrain (T) so there is no confusion between advances and governments, for example.

Changes in version 3.2:
-------------------------
-Restored the ability to edit the icon and sprite ID's but the program doesn't let you chose
 a name that already exists.
-Now properly deals with scenarii that don't have a unit.txt file

Changes in version 3.1:
-------------------------
-Fixed the Paul van den Belt bug :-)
-Removed the ability to rename icons, sprites, sounds, and special effects.

Changes in version 3.0:
-------------------------
-Now compatible with the scenario structure used in patch 1.2
-Added visual editing capability of unit flags

Changes in version 2.5:
-------------------------
-The input files now don't require the correct number of enties at the top.
This was done so that the program now works with CD's v4.2 without
 having to modify uniticons.txt.
-Also made error messages in reading the input files more descriptive.

Changes in versions 2.4, 2.3, 2.2:
-------------------------
Minor interface changes

Changes in version 2.1:
-------------------------
-Visual editing of Wonder flags
-Overwriting existing Mod now allowed

Changes in version 2.0:
-------------------------
-Great library text editing capability
-Terrain editing capability
-Fixed Wonder movie bug

Changes in version 1.1:
--------------------------
-Visual editing of Improvement flags
-Added "Improvement Analysis" box

Description:
------------
EasyMod is a windows interface for modifying the text files in Civ:CTP.
It keeps track of most of the files necessary to create a consistent Mod Pack.
You still do, however, need to tell the AI how to use any new units you create.

The program reads all necessary text files, lets you modify them,
and then creates two new gamedata folders containing the following:
advance.txt
advanceicon.txt
govern.txt
governicon.txt
improve.txt
improveicon.txt
sounds.txt
speceffectid.txt
spriteID.txt
terrain.txt
terrainicon.txt
units.txt
uniticon.txt
wonder.txt
wondericon.txt
wondermovie.txt
plus all the string files
If you are modifying an existing mod uses any other files than the above,
you should manually copy those files to the appropriate directory.

Any modified GL files go in the main CTP folder, so be aware that if you use
any of the existing file names, the changes will be global to CTP. So,
DONT USE THE DEFAULT GREAT LIBRARY FILE NAMES WHEN YOU MAKE CHANGES.
