City Expansion for ModMaker

DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY OF YOUR FILES WITH FILES FROM THIS ZIP. THE FILES ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY.

I know I should have renamed the files in this zip to something like MOD_scenario.slc or something, but I can't find out how to rename files from within winzip, and I don't want to extract the files into another directory just to rename them. I edited all the files from within winzip itself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This zip will help you a bit, to insert the city expansion feature from the Alternate Sci-fi mod into your own mod. All the files in this zip, is what you will need to change in your mod, to get the city expansion feature working.

I suggest you look through all the txt files here. You will notice a bunch of new terrains and goods. You will need those new terrains and goods. In the tileimp.txt, I changed all the 'road' improvements, so that you may build roads on the city tiles. Without these changes, roads will not be able to build on the city expansion tile.

In the slc files, the only change you need to make is to the scenario.slc. Look through it, and find out what you will need to change. You can leave the other slc files as is, and it should still work.

You will also notice that I included all the goods sprites in this zip. These good sprites are superior to the ones found in the Alternate Sci-fi Mod version 1.01. So you will want to use these goods sprites instead. The goods sprites in this zip has pure black alpha backgrounds. The ones in the version 1.01 are not pure black. Because they aren't pure black, you will see white squares on them when scrolling around the map. With pure black alpha backgrounds, the white squares are gone. I did not solve that pure black alpha background problem (I was unable to make pure black alpha before) until I uploaded the version 1.01, but I have included the fixed gg*.spr in this zip for your future users.

One last thing, these new terrains will require you to change the battleview.dll in the ctp2data/... directory. You probably already made the changes already, if you have installed the Alternate Sci-fi Mod properly. But for your new users, make sure to let them know. The bv00?.tga are found in the Alternate Sci-fi mod. Those tga are huge, so I did not include it here. The battleview.dll is also found in the alternate sci-fi mod, and not included in this zip.
