HOTH SCENARIO (VERSION 1)

********************************************************

This scenario is made for the Conflicts in Civilization
CD and takes advantage of events.txt and title.gif

If you don't have the CD, you can still play but it will
not work as good. (you will never see Luke, Vader, etc.
in the game)

TO INSTALL:
Unzip the Hoth folder and place in CIV2/SCENARIO/
if you have the CIC CD. If not, copy the files over
your originals by puting it in CIV2/ directory.
Then copy over the sound files into CIV2/SOUND/
NOTE: Back up your original files first!!!

ABOUT PLAY:

I've changes the game around alot to make it simulate
a single battle rather than an entire war (as Civ2 is
meant to simulate). Because of this, many of the
aspects of Civ II do not matter in this scenario, such
as food, trade, city improvements, technology, etc.
Your only goal is to kill or be killed.

For scoring, the Rebels are the protagonists. Their
goal is not to destroy the Empire, but to simply keep
their cities from being taken by a cetain turn.
On the other hand, to win the Empire must take Rebel
bases.
The determining factor in the game is the AT-AT walkers.
They are extremely powerful, and can only be destroyed
by a continuous attack of Snow Speeders (or perhaps
an attack from Luke Skywalker). It will take many
speeders to kill one, so don't waste time with attacking
Storm Troopers with your Snow Speeders. (by the same
respect, if you are the Empire don't waste time killing
Rebel troops with AT-ATs, instead take them directly to
the Rebel cities.)

I have tried to my best ability to make the walkers go
straight to the Rebel cities using events.txt, but they
act very stubborn sometimes. If you have any comments
or find any bugs, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
I plan to update this scenario later on.

THANKS to all who helped me on the CIV II HEAVEN
MESSAGE BOARD by answering my questions, including
much help from Jeff Head and Mike McCart, and anyone
else who I forgot to mention.
Also, thanks to all of the original artists of units
which I used in this scenario.
