Description	: It's World War III and the USSR is out to kick everybody's
butt. But wait... It must contend with everybody too!
And the world is filled with my new unit... the ICBM!!!
While hopefully knocking out the other players nukes, you
also nuke their cities. In any case, this scenario will
    		  see many a nuke fall...
Credits	: Microprose, for such a wonderful game,
Radiospace's CIV 2 Scenario Design FAQ,
		  and myself

Technical stuff...

New Units : Yes (Spy Sattelite, ICBM, and the Light Armor unit)
New Graphics	: Yes (But the Light Armor does something bad...)
New Maps : Yes
New Sounds : Yes (Combined some previous sounds)
Scenario : Yes (Didn't I already say that?)
Turns : 121 (August 1989 to May 2004)
Tech Paradigm	: 12 times harder to recieve advance
Turns per Year : 12 (12 months)
Civilizations : 7 (Soviet, American Allies, Europeans, Oceanic, Asian,
			  Arab, and African)

Even more technical stuff...

Made with	: Microprose's Civilization II cheat mode, map editor,
	   	  and Notepad (Microsoft)
Build Time	: May 28, 1997 through June 6, 1997 (sporadic working)
Known Bugs	: The ICBM has such a long range that it will never run
out of fuel (yes, even though it's an air unit), however
If you want a logical explanation (or just something to
make it a dignified bug), here it is: The ICBM is just
in orbit, and has not come out of it just yet.

How to run this scenario:

1. Make a backup copy of your orignial (or modified?) units.gif and
rules.txt in a new directory off of your mps\civ2 directory
(make it something like "backup" so you'll know what it is.)

2. Unzip ww3nuke.zip into your civ2 directory

3. Play my wonderful scenario

4. After playing my scenario, play it again (just for fun this time)
   :-)

How to get a good start... (Don't read this if you want to lose a
couple of times...)

In general: WATCH WHERE YOU MOVE THOSE NUKES!!! Make sure you're nuking
what you want to, don't move that nuke too fast or you
could accidentally waste it, AND lookout for those airbases
and your friendly submarines!! That drove me crazy during the
playtesting... :o In this scenario, the Soviets have the
overall "advantage" in the begining, but all that can change
quickly if you do something stupid like not use your nukes
right away, or attack some smaller power before the larger
ones. Any nation in this scenario will have to build Solar
Power Plants very quickly or face the wrath of mother nature!

Soviet: Use your spy sattelites to locate everybody elses nukes, and
then use your bombers, fighters, and nukes to destroy their
nukes, [hint, nukes are only in some airbases at the start and
not in the cities] (This will give you some time to conquer the
world). After that, make sure your largest cities get SDI, or
somebody will nuke your prize cities, and for maximum
effectiveness, have one city protect other cities within 3
	   spaces of that city.

American Allies: Wait out the Soviet nuclear strike, the computer will
ignore your airbases with their nukes, and all of your
nukes are not near your cities, so you will be
able to respond with a counterstrike. Your next goal
should be to build SDI, or the soviets will do it again.
Your ultimate goal should be to invade the USSR by means
of the European Continent (if your European Allies fall,
this will be very hard to do, even on Chieftain.

Europeans:	Your main goal is to survive the Soviet nukes and the
proceeding invasion of the mainland. If you cant hold most of
the European mainland, your only hope is that your American
Allies will show up with relief. Make use of the nukes you may
have left wisely, there are only a handful for use by the
Europeans. In fact, if you want to keep them safe, your best
bet is to stow them away on an airbase in Greenland, or Iceland.

Arabs: If the Soviets to crush you in the first couple of turns, your
very lucky. Use your fundamentalist government to casue a
bloodbath for the poor Soviets. You may wish to use your spys
to steal ICBM technology, and then pop one into mother Russia
herself, that is if they haven't built extensive SDI; in that
case, plant nukes with your spys, because nobody will get back
	  at you because you're fundamentalist.

Oceanic: Your luckier, the Soviets won't be to your back door for
quite some time, and you'll have time to build up an army for
that. In the mean time, you might as well research ICBM, or
ask your kindly allies for it. The only way you'll get a piece
of this war early on, is if the Soviets don't appreciate the size
of your larger cities, and decide to long-range ICBM them.

Asian: You have a huge Soviet army on both sides of your empire and about
the only thing you cna do to it is nuke it on your own turf,
because your army, while being "ok" in size, won't be able to
repulse before it reaks havoc upon you. Your long-term goal
should be to conquer Asia, because that will be far easier than
trying to take all the large cities to the West.

African: If you wish, you can just sit out the entire war while every
other super-power dukes it out. Your advantage is your
neutrality, and the fact that if each super-power knocks the
other down, you may become, in time, the most populated nation.
Your long-term goal is growth, and a possible limited war against
a super-power. Don't stay in the war too long, because you can't
afford a nuke falling on your few populated cities. Build SDI
in all of your cities before anything.
