Some notes of CIV2 "Zairian Uprising" Scenario:

*** BRIEFLY ************************

-Things are as accurate as possible.

-Try the Rebels or Zaire

-No changes to @COSMIC

-make zaire\sound file and place .wav files in it
************************************

-This scenario was designed to be as accurate as possible and to
leave all probable outcomes open for the human and computer players.

-It is highly recommended that you play the Rebels and see if you can
unify the major cities of to receive the maximum points possible.

-Zaire is a difficult challenge. Your government and cities are
falling apart at the onset and you'll need some luck to stop the rebels.

-Angola is a moderate challenge, and if you do enter the Zairean
Civil War there is the CIVII possibility that you may be attacked by both
the rebels and Zaire.

-I don't recommend the OAU, Rwanda, Burundi, or the West because they
are either too small to be a factor and because it is unlikely that the OAU
will declare war on Zaire or the rebels.

-The West, which is represented by Belgium due to Zaire's long
affiliation with the Belgian government, cannot speak with any other members
due to its high level of technology. Even so, I've made the Western weapons
so expensive that they are a non-factor for other players in this short
scenario.

-The OAU cannot talk to the rebels, and vice-versa. Since the Rebel
player isn't a recognized African nation, it won't be likely that there will
be any real contact between the two groups.

    WONDER CHANGES:
Force of Rebellion = Sun Tzu's War Academy
Space Technology (West) = Isaac Newton's College
Peace Summit = Hanging Gardens (can be built by all except Rebels and West)
Western Aid = Adam Smith's Wonder (can be built by Rebels)

    UNIT CHANGES:
UN troops are better than R Troops which are better than Troops
Tanks are better than R Tanks
Sth. Fighters are better than R Fighters.

All other unit changes are minor.

    PROBLEMS:
Unfortunately, my map is based on satelite images gathered in 1980.
There may be a few incorrectly placed tiles on the map.

I've had an occasional problem with the Artillery units, they seem
to be a choice for some civs and not for others. I've scoured and tweaked my
files like crazy, but I can't find a way around it.

Some sound files will not work unless you have the CivII CD or CiC CD
in the CD drive.
