This attachment was not preserved

The post still records that a file was attached, and the archive still has the database row naming it -- the uploader, the date, the download count. The file itself is gone.

The September 2005 backup contains no attachment bytes at all: the files lived outside the part of the server that was backed up. Every attachment in this archive was therefore recovered from the live Apolyton server, which still holds 95,685 of the 97,509 files listed in the 2005 database. This was one of the other 1,824 -- present in 2005, removed from the live server at some point in the twenty years since.
