Hello, my name is Kyriakos Chalkopoulos and i am a 24year-old philosophy graduate
from Greece. I am also a writer, soon to be published, i am writing about the
psychological explanation of why people act as they act. My experience (from
myself) is that traumas shape us, experiences for which we werent ready at a time in
the past, either because we were too little to be able to cope with them (and therefore
seing the people who hurt us as figures of authority, thus not being able to dissaprove
of their bad views/actions) or because we simply havent had that kind of experience
before (for example the death of a loved one) in all cases however what is common is
that before the trauma is formed the person is "petrified" "at a loss for words" "in
agony" etc, and because he/she cant possibly sustain that feeling they look for a way
out, and when that way out involves miss-explaining the event that creates a trauma.
The way out of the trauma is to remember the original experience (it is always
prominent inside of us) go back in our mind and now think what would be the correct
way to have acted in that event. This way the symptom of the trauma (and there are
always symptoms, because the wrong view we took inside us hurts us internally) is
always prominent as well. I will give an example. Also a very useful note is that the
way to understand what is a symptom and what is natural is that a symptom will
always prevent us from acting in the opposite way that it requests/forces us to, for
example a person may have the absolute need never to speak loudly when in his own
apartment. Not because he/she chooses not to, after thinking for example that some
neighbor is "crazy" and can complain for hours about it (special case) but because
they just dont feel at all comfortable with speaking loudly. This is the symptom of a
trauma. What kind of trauma? Since i had that i can explain it very well: one in the
past can have been in an apartment and faced huge opposition/criticism by neighbors
whenever he spoke, or made any sound. That was ofcourse the fault of the neighbors,
who acted like this due to their own repressed traumas, but the person in this example
(like me) didn't think that at all when that took place, instead he thought that it is a
fact of life, and ventured to be very cautious in the future about this. But this way one
is forced (subconsciously, which is why it is called a repressed memory) to always be
cautious about this, no-matter who his neighbors are. This only changes when he
remembers what happened, and realises that the fault wasn't his, but of the other
people. Then this state of anxiety regarding talking in ones apartment goes away. The
method is similar in All cases of trauma.

I wrote that because i believe that they can indeed help people who have
psychological problems (to an extent everyone has some repressed memory, but some
have more destructive ones than others), and also have some similar notes in the
scenario's events :) I wish that you will have many hours of fun playing this scenario,
and also wish you all the best in your life :)
