| Description: |
This patch extends the tech tree into the near future and allows for the development of new military strategies based on novel advances that make possible new types of military units. In other words, there are units designed to be used in new ways, rather than just more powerful versions of old units. In this way the NNFP allows for the evolution of the battle field into the 21st century. This patch also requires more future advances for spaceship construction, thus encouraging civilizations to develop their modern arsenals before the game is ended by an unrealistically early journey to Alpha Centauri. |
