Scenario intro:
By the year 1290 BC the international system in the Middle East is again dominated by the Egyptian Empire, governed now by the great pharaoh Ramsees II (1290-1224) of the 19th dynasty.
His opponents are King Muwatalli of the Hethitians (1310-1285), who will meet him in the famous battle of Kadesch; and King Salmanassar I of the Assyrians, who adds the last of the Mitanni
peoples, including this province, into his empire.
This king also fights first against the northern Kingdom of Urartu (Ararat), and prepares to move against Babylon. The old capital of Mesopotamia, still suffering a financial crisis and foreign occupations, will only rise again after 1137 under King Nebuadnezzar I of the 4th Babylonian dynasty.
All culturally highstanding kingdoms of the Middle East are however menaced by the Seapeople´s storm, which will lead to the destruction of the Hethitian empire in Asia Minor as well as the Egyptian power in Syria, the Phoenician prosperity in Lebanon, and the Minoian culture in Greece. The catastrophy of the Hethitian reign begins however with the Trojan war. After a visit to King Menelaos of Sparta, the Trojan prince Paris makes off with the wife of his host, beautiful Helen. Menelaos asks his brother Agamemnon, king of Mycenae, to lead the Greek revenge. Together with the two brothers, the best of the Greek heroes board their ships to sail against the city of Troy governed by king Priamos and bravely defended by his son Hector. Among the other Greeks (Nestor of Pylos, Achilles and Ajax) there is one little king of the small island of Ithaca, named Ulysses...
