Authors description 'After playing "The Age of Discovery" scenario from Civilization II Scenarios,I was disapointed to find that it did not play very well at all.In this scenario I have used the old Age of Discovery scenario as a base for this one. It plays very differently however, the Europeans are much more dominant as it should be. I have made numerous changes to the rules and graphics. The civilopedia should explain most of these.'

This is a nice scenario. It is much better than the old version. However, being the Europeans is the only option. Everybody else is too weak. Most of the old civilisations are now Barbarians.
