Description:

Scenario Intro: "It is December 7, 1941- "a day that will live in infamy." The Japanese have declared war on the Allies and are sneak attacking Pearl Harbor and other targets throughout the Pacifc. Meanwhile, the forgotten war continues-China and Japan have been at war for 10 years. Millions have died in a seemingly endless quagmire. This scenario is designed for the human player to be the Japanese. Your goal is to completely wipe out the Allies, Kuomintang (Nationalist Chinese) and Red Chinese before time runs out." Additional remarks: This is a complete modpack with changed graphics for cities, units, icons, and terrains, it includes events as well as new techs and improvements.

( Jacobite1688, 01-06-2003) A classic. The graphics are serviceable, though now slightly dated. Since only Japan can be played, replay value is not very high. Another problem is that there a LOT of units to have to keep track of. Never the less, this one is well worth the download.
( Giant_Squid, 08-26-2000) A comprehensive treatment of a neglected subject. Fun to play from most sides, and different enough from the original game to make it interesting to look at. Only complaint would be turn length and a possible slight advantage to the defense, but all in all one of the better scenarios on this site.
