Day of Treason
Review it ____ Rate it ____
Description:
In 1973, the combined armies of Egypt and Syria lauched a surprise attack on the Israeli forces. While the young jewish nation struggled to survive, the two superpowers, the USA and the Soviet Union fought a cold and diplomatic war. Command either the Israeli or Arab forces, buy weapons in the international market with the new 'buy' feature and make major decisions that will change the face of the region forever.

  1. ( Jose Mendes, 03-21-2001) One of the best militari scenarios out there! Alexandre did a good job creating two totaly diferent perspectives of play, for the arabs and for the israelis. The "buy" item is very creative and gave a totaly diferent touch to the game.
  2. ( Graeme LeSaux, 02-07-2001) This scenario can be summarized as follows: "get the bigger guns and kill the bad boys out there as soon as you can". For some reason I was expecting a bit more from this scenario.

A very accurate historical scenario on the Yom Kipur war. I had lots of fun and learned a lot while playing it. Definitelly recomend it to other players. Try both playing as Israel or the Sirian-Egypt alliance.
  4. ( Abendua Hogeitasei, 01-05-2001) This is a competently designed scenario but lacks originality. No great ideas here.
  5. ( Tom, 10-28-2000) Probably the best purely military scenario I've played. The buy feature adds a little extra... If it lasted longer, or had a little more depth, it would get a 10 easy...
  6. ( panag, 10-23-2000) now thats a game , the buying is cool
