Description:

An epic tale of the SMAX world at large, Joe charts the actions of nations and their devoted servants - from the machinations of official diplomats to the schemes and tricks of less reputable agents, from the Senate halls to the seedy streets. Over two years in the writing, this story takes an expansive slice of life from the troubled history of Planet Chiron, following the turbulence of the discovery of Fusion Power, revealing startling insights to the Planetary Council and Governor Elections, and attempting what few others have dared even to guess at: a defence of the Hive way of life. Whilst faction leaders living and dead fret their hour on the stage, it is the myriad struggles of ordinary men and women that turn the world beneath them.

Notes: This story conforms to the events detailed in Journey to Alpha Centauri and the SMAX manual excerpts of Arrival. The in-game mechanics are also largely preserved.
