Naturally lake wins pool 100-0 every time... I already have summer cabin in small 'island', by the lake, and you can jump from sauna terrace to lake .. Well it's not MINE, but it's my families and I can already use it when ever I feel like it, it's always empty... good for fishing too btw. I have a rowing boat there, motors are not allowed there, it's nice to go there with few beers and do some fishing early in the morning... or in the dagen efter.

Put an end to popups!

Try Pheonix, Arizona. I was just there and you can get nice housing cheap. My friend's parents have a 1 level ranch for around $150,000. Area's in great shape, looks pretty safe, and has an NFL team (not good, but okay ). The only downsides are the monotonous coloring of housing (ALL desert sand) and that the temperatures can reach over 120 degrees F.

Sounds crappy to me. I can play for $5/hour and no extra charges.

definitely.. it's really beautiful there.. when I was stressing with my entrance exams and thought I failed, and I was here all over being nervous and going pretty much over the edge with things I took few days off there alone, no cell phone, just some food, fishing rod, few beers.. that's so therapeutic. Came out as a new man. I love the place. Except the fact, that there is no real toilet so there's you know a toilet outside.. So when ever you sit down there to do your business, there's about 400 flies up in your ass.

What is 1 level ranch? the 1 level part?

The price sounds very good, almost criminal kind of good, but desert and 120F doesn't sound that good .

When I graduated as a M.Sc, one of my buddies' girlfriend's parents had a summer house in "Åbolands Skärgård" with a wood-fire sauna on the seaside. It was in June '95, the year of the "Russian spring heat", so the sea was comfortably to swim already. Pure paradise!

Hot air that came from the Russian stepps. Normally, the summer comes late to Scandinavia due to all the cool water that puts a lid on it. But in the spring of '95, some air was heated rapidly on the Russian stepps, then some unusual winds blew it right up to Sweden and Finland. 25-30 degrees in the air and 20+ in the Baltic Sea in the first week of June was pretty comfortable. But perhaps you were too young to remember?
