From what I'm hearing, both by browsing

I finally got it last friday, I couldn't wait for this expansion, but it wasn't available here in Dublin untill the 20th (it should have been released a week earlier). I'm well into my first game now and so far I love the enhancements! I don't really like playing scenario's, but the improvements to the epic game are good enough to make this title worth buying.

I also got the follwing neutral answer from an Amazon.uk service rep after I complained that the game has not shipped despite pre-ordering it (what's the point of pre-ordering when you have to wait for 1-2 weeks after it is released

"Please note that although "Sid Meier's Civilization III: Conquests
Expansion Pack" was released on November 21, 2003 the current
availability estimate of this item on our website is 1-2 weeks."

This is the dumbest thing I heard and the first diassapointing experience with Amazon.*

I got a package from amazon UK and a nice letter. I
t says 'We are sorry for the delay in shipping your order, due to Civ 3 being out of stock with Atari. As compensation, we shipped you a copy of 'Civ IV reloaded'. With our apologises etc. etc.'


Now I am the first to have Civ4 but still don't have C3C
