you're quite correct.

as for specific rules- the story has to be vaguely related to Civ III... not necessarily a specific game- but it has to be related ins ome way, whether it be the civs- or specific reference to some aspect of the game structure, etc.

It's pretty open ended.

Oh yeah... just wondering, have all of you guys voted in the Apolyton Hall of Fame? You could put in a plug for some of your favorite authors by voting in it in the Off-Topic section or Civ III sections and perhaps bring some new readers/writers to this section of the site?
