Yes, that was the point with my scenario too. ACS would remain free, while some additional features like no advertising would be available for subscription members. Donators could get a small badge. And subcribed members the usual subscription stuff. These additional things could include ACS webmail e-mail with addresses @apolyton.com, so that they can't be mixed with official addresses and it's easier to do technically. That would of course be done with HiveMail. Of course I do have some other ideas too, but those are ones I have developed for my own use.

I'm sure you are capable of a contribution, but your 'style' is counterproductive. No one is ever going to pay attention to someone who bashes 'Poly and whinges.

If you want people to discuss any ideas try presenting them clearly and non-grouchily, like the last post.

Indeed. And no contents related to Civ (news sections, downloads, The Column, ACSR, etc) would be off limits. So it's all about extra stuff and reduced or non existant ads.
