BTW - in case you didn't know - you must use the XP patch to pop-boom as Morgan (or Yang). Otherwise the Golden Age won't give you +2 Growth.

It essentially forced me to try running 10% of my economy to psych. When I went green and started one of my two independent rovers North I met a cluster of worms, and there were four of them stacked happy as a bug in a rug coming at me. I had the kill the remaining six. The only problem is that the ones I captured were already inside my boundaries, so they are not independent. Of course if they had gotten into my territory unharmed (I was NOT fully garrisoned at the time)...
I had taken them north into the fungus to pop pods and build in size. But the transports that were supposed to bring them back ended up rushing artifacts back. The resulting pacifism drones were unhandlable at Birr with four mindworms out of territory when I went FM. I had almost no remaining crawlers because I had used them for building some stuff. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, since it appears that all the engineers I could run at 10% psych versus Empaths and/or Thinkers with no psych cost me two research points and actually gave me more energy - that caught me by surprise. I do take a slight hit in minerals, but the Engineers more than make up for that. Serendipity.

Sorry to be holding this up. This week is a tremendously busy one - with 18 hour days squeezing me. I should have the turn played and sent before I go to bed tonight (or early tomorrow morning).

Global Trade Pact is left in force in a victory for Democracy! Turn to Morgan.
to the tune of "The Little White Duck"
There's a little green Tranceport, sittin' in the water.
A little green Tranceport, doin' what it oughter.
It waited for an upgrade and then,
It launched some planet busters and it said I'm bad,
It's a little green Tranceport, doing what it oughn't
Splash, splash, splash.
I've been taking care of my two year old as we play - that and sleep deprivation give one very strange thoughts.

2178 - Morgan
A teensey weensey Robot crawled up the anchor-line
A teensey weensey Robot crawled up the anchor-line
He wandered back down laying carbon nano-tubes
And the Space Elevator was in operation soon.
I forgot this last turn - a volcano appeared off the Santiago's coast line. In case anybody is interested. Did it show up in each person's turn? I would like to know for a communications thread I started a month ago.
And guess what - Miriam has started a Fission Planet Buster. I wonder what that is for?

I didn't get a message - but as the turn started it panned to the new volcano off of Santiago's coastline. Now I did, for one turn, have a base doing a little over 40 points of ecodamage, so it may have happened in "my" turn. That's what I need to find out. Did anybody else get a quit pan to the volcano erupting?
