Probably the game automatically put you in that status. I've done some experimenting "playing with myself" multi-player hot-seat games and had it do that to me - hadn't tried the gifting yet, had just "assumed" you could do it.

Could somebody point me to the game setup thread? I want to double-check on the game rules that were agreed to. I've been playing the standard Apolyton PBEM rules, I just wanted to double check before my next turn.

I have my new cable modem - not working yet, came in to job and am posting turns during lunch break from a thumb drive. Hopefully customer service will get me up and running tomorrow. Here's the last turn to Morgan as a zip.

I hope to send the turn quickly... but my home cable is down. The guy is supposed to come today for the repairs.... but you know how that is.
If I can't get it sent this weekend then I'll try to sneak a copy of SMAC to work. We'll see.
