Power Windows, a great album! From my favorite, Marathon, to Manhattan Project (great lyrics - shot down the rising sun), and Mystic Rhythms, Big Money, Territories and Middletown Dreams.

Okay u guys, the instrumental from Roll the Bones is called "Where's My Thing". The title is alot like "Leave That Thing Alone" so I got them confused.

Magyar, about this easter egg. Is it during the documentary or when Rush comes back to do the final medley and Alex gives an intro to the song they're about to do?

My first Rush album was Hemispheres, which IIRC was a compilation of some of their earliest stuff. It was a triple album, and included one album pre-Neil on the drums. It has Working Man on it though, which I always enjoy. I saw them in 1976 (Fly by Night Tour IIRC) and in 1978. They rock, and they got a even better later on. Another good Canadian rock band.

About some people thinking that this thread was about Rush Limbaugh:

I find it a bit worrying. Or is it so, that some of those people really have never heard of Rush (the band)? Or are they just pretending to be interested in politics?

Even the title of this thread should be revealing - or does a 'famous republican political commentator in radio' have fans (if so, then I'm really worried)...

I was a huge Rush fan when I was younger and still listen to a CD now and then. Farewell to Kings was always my favorite album. I lost interest on the album after Grace Under Pressure. They started losing thier edge a bit IMHO - technically still very good but no longer taking risks.

I think I'll go dig out a Rush CD or two

Rush is without a doubt one of the greatest bands ever

(And there should be no mistaking the greatest progressive rock band of all time for some republican radio show hack...makes me cry)

Some of you might want to check out a Scandinavian band called Anglagard too. Kind of like 70's style progressive rock mixed with folk. Very impressive music.

I also see Dream Theater are mentioned. Quality band with extremely high levels of technical proficiency. Best albums are Images & Words, Awake, and Metropolis Part II: Scenes from a Memory. They have a Rush influence (they played part of 2112 when I saw them live the first time) but they also have a ton of other progressive rock and metal band influences as well.

OK. Since i"m going home soon and this is falling towards the second page, here's the trivia answer:

They're the ones who know when to go crazy - and more importantly: when not to do it - during "The Spirit of Radio".
