I would have put Antarctica on it, but there were a few problems, it would have totally been ice, not hospitable at all, and also Antarctica is actually very small, its smaller than Australia and it would be weird to make it wrap the map, so I just didn't put it.

I was planning on ice - I'd get one production off of it (from the city square), and once I got harbors and libraries(rush-buying), my cities would produce quite a bit of science from supposedly inhospitable land. Unit defense and settlers would have been a pain though...
By the way, what does everyone think of my post in the Tales thread? I finally finished it!

Yeah I like doing that on the poles too. Also add an Offshore Platform later on and you've really got something. Science, production, and not really that hard to defend (at least after the Platform). Plus not too many people will be expecting a city there.
On your post in the Tales thread:
Pretty good (not that I have much to judge it by). And on your comment about B.C... My historian is in the future (compared to where we are in the game), and is finding books (or whatever) and/or writing about the past right now. At some time in the future (compared to where we are in the game), you might find out what B.C. actually stands for.
P.S. Monday at 7 EDT is fine by me.

Okay, Monday June 19th will be the next session of Diplogame IX. We will start at 8:00e, 7:00c, 6:00m, and 5:00p. Those are the starting times. The session will last three hours.

Tuesday is fine with me (antime after 3:30 EDT). BUT, I can't play on Wednesday until 9:15 EDT at the earliest. Actually I could be as late as 9:25 or 9:30, but should make it by 9:15. So if you all want to play Wednesday, then have everyone here ready to go at 9:15 but be willing to wait a few for me, please?
Anyway, I'll check back tomorrow to see what's happening. I'll post too in the other thread. Sorry, been a little busy...
