2) Amendments

a) Purgings

Members will be purged from the voting rolls if they received 0 new votes in the month of election. This allows the hall to keep up-to-date, and keeps it from having to reset completely every month. Thus, the hall worthy posters will continue to garner votes day in and day out because their contributions to Apolyton are timeless.

The new policy is in opposition to the previous policy of cutting the received votes by 1/2 each round... that was deemed too unfair to people who had been accumulating votes and too slanted toward new people on the list.
This way, the list is kept clean and if people return to popularity, their numbers will soar.
It also adds some strategy to peoples votes.
If the list wasn't cleaned in this way and the carryovers had been continued from the first contest then feasibly- someone who I voted for in every contest would have 30 points by now! With JUST myself voting for him.
However, since the list IS cleaned, if I forget to vote for him one time or decide to vote for someone whom more people think deserves to be in the hall, then all his previous votes are wiped and I have to start over voting for him again from 0.
This wiping prevents both clutter of and abuse of the system and adds strategy to voting.

No. I just didn't think that more than 6 people would go over 100, therefore the people who already have 100 votes to their credit will probably get in even if no one else votes for them.

Yeah, I'll admit, my info on Chegitz was sort of bizarre... if he wants it changed, I'll fix it I have no idea why I thought that was the most important thing to talk about when describing chegitz to the community I guess it's just that I thought that everyone would remember theben from his glory-civ III The list-days and then realize that "oh, Chegitz's his brother- he must be real interesting as well"... other than that, I might have been on some substance or other wehn I wrote that- I can't see any other explanation
