I have a very good friend who is gay, and despite my intellectual beliefs that what he does in his spare time is his own business and not mine, I still can't really get past it. Whenever we are alone together I feel uncomfortable. Which is really stupid - I am sure he doesn't fancy me - he has never come on to me or even discussed his boyfriends (whom I have never even met) or anything like that. I think I am just paranoid. (Although there was that one time when we were having a drink in a bar together, and this girl walks up and asks if we are gay lovers - I almost dropped my beer. He just laughed.) Maybe I should see a pyschiatrist....
