The swastika was the symbol of finnish air forces (blue swastika) , and it was also used in some tanks (black swastika) during ww2.

I thought you knew that...

And the swastika originally came from some airplanes finland got in 1917 from a swedish baron (?) who had printed the heraldic symbol of his family (swastika) to the plane...

so, should we blame the swedes then?

As has been pointed out, the swastik is a holy hindu symbol, and is used to purify a place of evil.

My wife (who is Indian) brought some letter holders back with swastik's on, and placed them right next to the door, so everytime I opened the door to sales people, you should have seen their faces .. it was the first thing you saw as you entered the house ..

Oddly enough, no .. they never returned ???

the mirror image of the swastika used by nazis has been used by asians in buddhist temples for ages. it has something to do with the sun and its rising rays, iirc.

maybe it's about time the whole world gave the spiked cross themeaning it held for milenia, rather for some sorry shortlived decades.
There are neoclassical buildings in athens which have the spiked cross long before there was nazi germany.
greeks propably got it from aryans (the real ones from india).

and this symbol even exists amongst indians (in amaerica) where it symbolizes perpetual movement (nomadlife)

it's about time it is reassessed for what it really means
