i'll always remember the first time i heard nightwish.
first week of uni, just getting to know the people and some arseface asks if anyone minds him putting his CD on in our kitchen, no problem we all say, trying to be nice. so he puts it on, clearly enjoying the god awful noise emerging from my CD player, several of us look at each other, no one wanting to look like a ****. finally after what seemed like 2 hours, but was probably about 2 minutes i turned to the geezer and broke the uneasy silence
'no offence mate, but i think i speak for everyone here when i say 'what the **** is this ****ing ****', seriously, i could blow a better tune out of my arse'
i looked (and felt) like a right ****, but at least we didn't have to hear nightwish again.
