Last night I was so bored, I decided to witness my friend's friends play D&D.

No offense D&D lovers... But that was sooooo boring. And the saddest thing was I had nothing better to do.

things have all gone a bit pete for me. i'm so skint that i can't afford to go out properly and my best mate has decided to spend the evening with his bird. so i'm left with a couple of parties held by people i don't really like, still at least some of my mates would be there, or so i thought until one of them sent me a txt last night.

'we're going to this big event in bristol, gonna be large, shouldn't be more than £50(!) for the night, and btw do i want to chip in some money for 'supplies''

last night i went out with my 3 of my mates and drank a few cases of olympia (bleh) a 40 of mickeys and a few sips of boddingtons and new castle...

we broke into a friends house that is under remodeling and brought a few pornographic dvds. called up some people to come over, none did, we all went home at like 2 am.

Talked to my girlfriend after i got home, and she says we should start having sex again as soon as she gets home from montana and i get back to seattle from california. all in all im happy!

im not a raging alcoholic. In fact I dont drink much at all except for special ocassion and a very light social drinks... I'll kill mself if I keep up drinking with my friends. (theyre irish!) I'd like to at least remember the ball drop if Im going to black out....

Actually, the last thing you need to do is spend more time here. Seriously. It can be a lot of fun, it's fairly addictive because we're a fairly interesting bunch of loons in our own ways, but ultimately, it's pretty hollow, and doesn't do squat for having a real social life.

That must be a terminology issue, but I would hardly call the UK "socialist". Even the Scandinavians aren't socialist. Those are "social-democratic" countries, i.e capitalist societies that acknowledge private ownership of production means, but which limit the perverse effects of inequality.

A "socialist" country, in my book, is a country that doesn't acknowledge the private ownership of production means, except one-person businesses.
