If OT posts counted, I'd say around 15 Deities. I'd have closer to 20,000 as well, I'm sure.

Most of my posts are on-topic, so I'm pretty sure I'd still be an Emperor. Probably have over 5k posts, but doubt it would be near 10k.

Man, tonight is one of the few times I get into the posting spirit...and naturally it has to be in the OT and not one of the on-topic forums... *sigh*

I had a friend that believed in something called circular math. The theory went that if you went to a high enough number, you'd eventually reach 0, hence reaching infinity.

By that "logic," if one had enough PCRs, they would eventually reach a postcount even higher than that of the other dieties...

Look right above you... Sava for one has probably had thousands of posts. You don't need to be a super spammer. Think about this. 100 posts a week for 2 years (52 weeks each) would result in diety status. Hell, I end up posting like 20 posts a day (probably more), which is ~7,280 posts a year.

Just had a thought. How many people would be at Deity level if OT posts never counted?

I'd be willing to guess almost zero. Seeing that this is a Civilization site that is the way it should have been all along. I realize the higher your OT count the more you may disagree with this but credit should be given to those who contribute to the site's focus. We could save scarce memory and CPU time by moving the OT stuff to a newsgroup.

I would definitely have a great deal of respect for someone who reached king/emperor/deity entirely on topic!
