Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I only have PTW so this may not reflect the conflicts changes.

1. Ottomans - Most powerful UU in the game, ind and sci, excellently timed GA. It just doesn't get any better.

2. Persians - Once you hook up Iron, it's usually game over. Also ind and sci but despotic GA.

3. China - Another unbalanced UU. Ind and mil means culture is hard to get, but you'll be conquering the world anyway. Perhaps an even better timed GA than Ottomans (good for building those critical M.A. wonders)

4. Japan - Also good for conquering. Great UU and GA. Rel and mil let you easily plunk down the Big 3 you want in your newly conquered cities: Barracks, Temple, Walls.

5. Scandanavians - Strictly for warmongers. Mil and exp, not so hot, but a 6 attack UU at the beginning of the M.A., and ampibious no less! Strike deep in the heart of AI territory and raze their cities (you'll never hold them).

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Depends what kind of game I want to play. Commercial/friendly game, then:

- France
- Egypt
- Carthage
- Netherlands
- Spain

Conquer the world game:

- Russia
- Scandinavia
- America
- Germany
- China
many others... not too good to have a special unit in the earliest age as I don't like Golden Age in the Ancient Age. Expansionist is good in the beginning. And we all know if you start well you're half done

Thanks Filippo; I thought I was going to be the first one to mention:

France.

I tend to be a peaceful builder-type player, so com/ind really suits my style. Granted, the UU isn't very good, but I usually have gotten a wonder-based GA by then anyway, and the UU is much improved now in C3C--if still painfully short-lived. I figure that'll be fixed in the next DYP mod.
