This from racist, homophopic, right wing Alberta. Hopefully the East wakes the **** up to realise we're one of the more progressive & tolerant areas of the nation.
Not kidding. There's plenty of spin available to argue against it (oh no, gay marriages - how important!) - but deep down, Alberta has a lot more to offer than the rest of the nation, considering.

I concur with this. You would think that Whyte Av. would be one of the more gay-friendly areas of the city, what with the whole cosmopolitan thing they have going on down there.
I'd hate to see what would happen if they did this exercise in... um... I just realised that I don't really know what area of my own city is regarded as "most conservative"...
Uh... I wouldn't reccommend that men walk hand in hand down by the Greyhound Station and the Edmonton Centre parkade, but then again, I wouldn't reccommend that anyone walk down there, if they can avoid it.
