But now if we kill some of those "quiet" ones right away, maybe then the Mafia will be killed, and none of us innocent villagers will be killed. Of course, if noone has been killed yet, then supposedly we don't know there is a Mafia to kill. Then, how can we kill the suspicious villagers, if we are not sure they would kill us if we don't kill them?

Nikolai makes a good point there. If we start the killing, we're no better than the Mafia. But it'd be absolutely hilarious if we got the Mafia before he got any of us. The chances are, however, quite slim.

Well, seeing as how the villagers or the Mafia normally dispose of me in quite a short order, I figured I'd like to actually play a little bit this time around, and thus I need to get the potential killers out of my way... By killing them.

I've been watching this thread repeatedly, waiting for the Mafia to appear, but since there is no first kill yet, there is little point in posting. Usually this thread is started for the mafia kill, but in the absense of that, and with a mod alert and looking for spam (even if it is the most venerable rah) I thought it best not to spam.

In that case the villiagers would once again be wrong. I thought not saying anything would alert suspicion, or sign of absense. Since searching could see that I have not been absent (at least except for today) then not posting woul shave people assuming I'm the one slowing it down. However I simply have had nothing to say until Spaced declares who the Mafia have killed.

Unless you're trying to avert suspicion from yourself buy the "nice try but they'll vote for you" request to be voted for? A mod slowing things down would be quit a turn, and a very good disguise, IMHO, however since we haven't even had one death yet, it seems very premature to try to be guessing who the Mafia is. The mafia would most likely post a little, but nothing that draws attention to themselves. Since most normal posters would also do that, it is impossble to tell at this time, but it could well be anyone (except Spaced - just for Ghengis ).
