Hmm... well, if we can get someone else to submit some other stories, SKILORD, how would you feel about limiting your submissions to 2... having 3 in pretty much heavily weighs the contest in your favor although It should be noted that you have done a dramatic amount of word-work in recent months

Darkman, how do you figure 3 stories gives skipie an advantage? It would actually be a big disadvantage to him to submit more stories than less. This is because the people who like skipie will either spread their votes between his 3 stories resulting in vote depletion or pile them all onto the stains on my underwear and teeth story which most people seem to think is the best one. Either way, he gets no advantage at all. It would be like having more than one representative from the Democrats running in the next american presidential election - splits the demos' vote rather than increases it.

Thanks for the nomination. Yes, it's complete; to be honest, the thought of putting an explicit "The End" on it never even occurred to me since I posted the two messages at the same time (cut and pasted from a word processor mere seconds apart) and the story was logically complete. But in retrospect, I can see how people who see two messages could wonder if there might possibly be a third.

We never did go through and get on with the news. Could you make me a news editor, please MarkG? There were a few posts nominating me for that position on the old thread somewhere around here. I will make sure the section is filled and up-to-date at all times.
