I haven't named any indiviual ships before. But now that you mention it, it might be fun. I need something to anchor me into the roleplay mindset thesedays, anyways.

I do have general naming scheme that I use for ship designs, though. It will be *name* (I roleplay here and pick a name suitable for the race and ship class) and then M (for Model) followed by a number and a letter ie. 1A the number representing the version, and the letter the variation (ie. minor things like a new computer or shield, or small changes to make up for faults in the design).

I give my ships weird names, like I'll name my best battleship something like Adept Advisor or Contender whatever I can think up, I like conquering with 2-3 ships at the most, so IMO the name is 20% of the ship creation. and always, always, my doomstars are named 'Champion'
