Both of us get tested because of what we do anyway, so thats not an issue. As far as DNA goes, I've had it extracted before.

Yeah practicality sometimes gets put in the background when your dealing with emotions. Me and her have had to face that this week but thankfully those that are resisting are comming around..

Sprayber, congrats. I was 30 and she was 20 when I met the parents, they were not too thrilled. Plus, I was the first gentile to marry into either side of the family. Double plus-ungood. Now that we have a little girl (we waited 10 years) all is forgiven.

P.S. My wife and I are both pack rats - two pack rats should NEVER get married.

shawnmmcc: I think the main friction is because her dad is all for us being together and they are going through a divorce. She actually moved back in with her mom to be there for her as she went through this thing and now here I am taking her away. In two months she will be moving an hour and a half way to be with me and I just think she resents that fact. It will just take time I guess. She treats me with respect and seems to like me, just not the fact that I'm taking her daughter away.
