Major status update people:

I have now registered the channel with apolyton chanserv. I have also made an access list for channel regulars to be auto-oped.

Currently 2 entries on the list; obstructor and I. Let me know if you want to be included too and I'll add you.

nah i could do it too its I just think this password thing works better...
With the list everyone would need to register their names first and then report back to me an I would add them to the list and only AFTER THAT THEY WOULD GET IN.

Wich IMO is a bit more complicated than just knowing the password...dont you think?

...only that the autoplist didnt work so noone was oped and topics were gone, noone was able to change them etc.
Thats the other reason why the new channel was found. #cycon was simply disfunctioning, also the joint CPU faction needed its own channel.

I tried everything I could think off, followed Lauri's and Method's suggestions to the letter, if not the spirit, but simply can't connect to apolyton. I'm giving up, sorry guys, but you won't see me inthere.

(The /nickserv AUTH command as it appears in the email you'll be sent)

Where in mIRC do I need to type in these commands?

What screen or option screen?

I simply cannot connect to apolyton at all, all other servers (pre-installed) work out ok, but not apolyton.

When mIRC starts, cancel out of the connect options. Type those command into the Status Window's text input box (The box at the bottom of the window).
