PBEMs are better than DGs for generating posts.

PBEM's require you to do some "work" for those posts, though. Like, you have to actually play the game just to say "turn sent".

but then you have opportunities for such gems as "what's holding up the turn" and "could you resend the turn, my mailbox is full" on top of the turn sent post. Played correctly as the game nag and you will rake in the posts.
