Welcome all gladiator fans to the championship bout between Lord Drogue of Antonie and The Doctor. Both contestants have battled their way here through numerous bouts. Both are healthy, rested, and at full strength to determine who will be the champion of Apolyton. Skanky?
"Well it is about time this thing kicked off. I was beginning to wonder if this thing was going to happen at all. The odds makers have The Doctor up on 2:1 odds. I put my money on Drogue. I've always liked the underdog, especially with those odds."
The contestants stand facing each other about 5 meters apart. They both bow to each other and slowly begin circling to the right.
Drogue makes the first move with a deft attack aimed high on the The Doctor's shield side. The Doctor manages to get his shield up and partially block the blow, but Drogue's sword finds its mark on the upper shield arm of The Doctor, opening up a nice gash.
Drogue left himself open for counterattack during his attack, and the Doctor took full advantage delivering a vicious right cross that caught Drogue square in the nose.
Drogue, not to be outdone, launched another attack, vertically, plunging his sword, first high in the air, then straight down at the Doctor's head. The Doctor saw it coming though and managed to block the blow.
Both contestants stepped back and offered no other forms of attack.
(The Doctor has 87 points remaining, Lord Drogue has 93 points remaining).
