Guys, this is the final. We're both trying to win, and thus are both trying to hit each other without being hit. It's how Gladiator works. Sure, this ones going a lot slower, but it is the final, so the stakes seem somewhat higher. I know it's just a game, I thought about going all out attack for fun, but it's so easy to counter as to be my death sentance. So yes, I am being defensive. I attacked a lot earlier, but don't have the HP to lose now. Also, with him having a very high armour, and me not a high sword, it means we need a high attack to hit, and a high power to do any damage. Which leads to being defensive being a far easier strategy.

Welcome again gladiator fans (you know somethings gonna happen with this opening) to the continued fight between Lord Drogue of Antoine and The Doctor. Skanky what do you make of the action in the last few rounds?
....(hiss of dead air)....
Has anyone seen Skanky lately? Damn these live broadcasts. We'll see if we can't round him up.
The contestants approach each other clearly tired from the 7 rounds of stalemate that they have been repeating.
Whoosh, thud, whiff, clang. Oh no, not this again. They start to circle again.
The Doctor starts spinning his shield again. Thank goodness, since Drogue still hasn't managed to find a way to defend against this strategy. Drogue looks prepared for the worst and brings his paltry shield up to block the blow from the Doctor. The Doctor feints to the head of Drogue and at the last second drives his spinning shield across the upper chest of Drogue right under Drogue's outstretched shield opening up a thin red line across the chest of Drogue.
Drogue did not seem to be bothered by the blow, and he brutally cranked his sword around and drove it toward the defensless head of the Doctor who was still busily trying to get his spinning shield back in control. Drogue's sword landed a devastating blow on the Doctor's temple and managed to drag a path through the Doctor's eyesocket and the bridge of the Doctor's nose in an explosion of bone, gristle, blood, and eyeball juice. You could almost hear it pop as they'll soon be calling the Doctor, "Old One-Eye," now.
The contestants step back and offer no other forms of attack.
(The Doctor has 14 points remaining, and Lord Drogue has 20 points remaining).
(You may submit your next moves).
(I'm not sure that I can watch :scared

Welcome again fight fans to the FINAL (that should get someone's attention) round of the Championship of Apolyton. Skanky what do you make of the action of the last round.
"Mufflgy, guugky juspt kesst hishttingly ouuur mann harrdth, fbfut heis gethtinght backsh ath shimp nolw."
Apparently, no one informed Skanky that you really shouldn't talk with your mouth full of hot dog. Also surprising that he has an appetite at this point.
Swish, whosh, both contestants miss their first swings.
The Doctor goes back to the spinning shield strategy once again as at least he is able to score hits with that strategy. Once he gets his shield up to speed, he moves in on Drogue and fakes a thrust to the head of Drogue and then drives his shield down across the thighs of Drogue opening up another small thin red line.
However, Drogue seems to not care about the Doctor's move and after the Doctor's shield passed by doing its damage, he angled a vicious blow at the Doctor's exposed neck. His weapon struck true and continued in its path through the other side of the Doctor's neck exiting in a blast of crimson.
The Doctor's head slowly pinwheeled through the air releasing its last stream of blood in a circle as it fell to the ground and slowly spun for a second. The Doctor's eyes were still open and a strange smile appeared across his face as his head finally came still.
His body reacted even more strangely as his hands reached up to find his missing head only to be covered by the blood that was pumping out of the opening of his neck like a demonic water fountain. The body seemingly paniced and started to briskly walk a few steps in the opposite direction then stumbled and fell to the ground still pumping blood onto the sand. The show was pretty much over at that point as the body twitched a few times and was still.
At that point you could have heard a pin drop, then the crowd slowly began chanting, "Drogue, Drogue, Drogue," with each one louder than the next until the whole stadium was shaking. Drogue lifted his blood covered sword high in the air which whipped the crowd into even more of a frenzy.
Lord Drogue approached the judge's table and was presented the trophy for the Gladiator Championship of Apolyton.
Good game by all!
BTW Drogue had 13 points left at the end.
