, the best would be to go on the offensive , with lets say 6 armors and some support , ....

or we could go for an amphibious landing behind the lines to distract them , .....

While this is better than what we are doing right now, it is a wholey unrealistic scenario with the current economic factrs we have and demands from other theaters such as the Golan.

I couldn't disagree more, our transport is busy elsewhere and any amphibous assualt would only get bombed from the air.

Sinai has sufficient armour to go on a cautious rampage all the way to Cairo, IMHO.

What they lack are support troops: artillery to ward off counter attacks and machineguns to defend the taken cities.

defenders to hold the taken citys need to be rushed too..

will try to take another city this turn and then hold whilst we await reinforcments...

Some AA to protect from bombing may be helpful too.. but i know we limited ...

a spearhead or two in that direction would be intresting , and in the mean time minimal troops in the cities in that region to form the spearheads , .....

and maybe we could go around el arish , .....

will check out my thouhts o nel arish when we eady for next turn.. at moment i inclined to take it to leave no egyptians behind our lines, especialy with the scarcity of defenders around at moment.

i see two options open for me, i go for the nile!!! or i sweep eastward first and clear out all the Negev desert.

I'd make sure your back is covered first.

Making a bunker of Nevatim F could draw forces from the coast and allow you to move forward.

But run this all by the COS, I thought our main thrust was going to be up north first.

you could split forces in two , one to go for the attack , the second smaller group to stay behind and clean up whatever is left behind , ....

I agree, not just yet.

Concentrate forces and take limited defined objectives.

As the build up continues. We JUST got our first immigrants in, the build up will accelerate from here.

To clarify:

Use the tanks

Just dont leave them exposed.

Because we dont have a lot of stuff down there right now, to provide "cover".

Si in essence, I would be careful about overexposing your self.

If had 5 0r 6 Palmachs behind you I would say go to Suez, ASAP.

But you dont.

So take your time, and we will get you what we can
