Thanks for the sympathy. The most annoying part of it all is that
1.) the files that were lost had most of the old Aug 1999-Sept 2000 civ II General/Strategy files and the CIv III suggestions (though I still have some of those)
and
2.) the files that were lost included the long lost September 11th thread where everyone was asking who was okay in New York... Chris62, Imran, et. al.

Those two losses really annoy me...

I seem to recall that he specifically mentioned a poster's name that ends with a -rip and I think it might start with a T. He seemed quite intent on beating this spammer in the spamfest.

Another he mentioned isn't really you either, so you needn't worry about that. He might have also mentioned a certain Consul from south of the border whose nick includes the word 'Zen'.

He might have even mentioned someone of a Farbian variety, but I do not believe he actually expected to beat such an obvious spammer to Deity.

only way i know off is to get the information from the members lists, which means cutting and pasting lots of info into my spreadsheets.

i keep expanding the list to more and more people,
