I must admit that I did consider what a marvellous prank it would be to not appoint a Mafia at all and just kill you all off as the GM, but I suspected that I'd never be allowed to play Mafia ever again on Apolyton so I didn't go ahead with my idea.

Actually, we were going to Docpile Zop last time, but he stopped us. I don't think GM mafia's are good though, because it is outside the rules. I think we should be allowed to kill them though...

Well if we go by the rule that old mafias will be less likely to be selected as mafias in new games, as what rah was trying to remind us, then we may really need to focus on those ones who has not been mafia before, like MPS and Hercules ...

Although I'm still unsure how mafias are selected by the GMs in the first place. I mean are they really randomly selected? For if so then that "old mafia can't be mafia again" argument will not be true.

When I choose the mafia for 3 or 4. I simply flipped a coin 20 times.

The number of heads I got, 14 I believe, was used to pick the 14th person on the sign up list.

Not exactly accurate, but I didn't have a RNG handy.

I was advertising to the mafia to kill Thebyn. I could live with looking suspicious. I'm just continuing my trend of trying to get people that vote for me eliminated. I call it preemtive self defense Since everyone else has given up on trying to unmask the real mafia and just docpiles someone every turn, why should I care. I'm in it to protect myself and hope to get lucky when it gets down to 3 or 4 people.

Even though it would be funny if it gets down to three people and two of them are the mafia. At the rate we're going in this game, it could happen.

At least I knocked off one of the mafias when I was one. (and I can honestly say it was intentional.)
