I hope I pick better than last year.I think Bama will get a 8 or 9 seed,but with some injuries and the last 5 tough games I doubt they last long.I believe some teams that were thought weak might match up well thereby upsetting some big boys.

Will the SEC get 7 invites or will it be the ACC?

Screwed. They finished the season very strong, won their conference reg. season (including a win over Cincinnati late in the year), yet are a 7 vs. Cinci's 4 seed.

Supposedly the Committee bases it's seeding on the whole year, not just the last month, but then I have to ask the question, how did Washington and Michigan State both get in the tourney? It's also the reason why Illinois is a 5 seed even after losing to Wisconsin who got a 6 seed

Maryland actually won their tournament and had a winning confrence record, I can't fault them being in the tournament, I can fault the committee from having them as a bubbleteam shoot all the way up to a 4 seed.

In some other news, those of you who are considering picking Murray State over Illinois, two of their Junior leaders got arrested for possession and paraphenalia this week, they're out on bail, but will they actually play?

I couldn't find an edit function. ended up picking one bracket and stopping when it seemed to be "til-death-do-you-part." (Of course, I had immediate 2nd thoughts about a couple picks.)

So -- Is it true that this is a one-shot selection, with no turning back? (If so, it's a weak-ass Web app.)

You can go back and just pick another team, and it'll change the selection. Once the first game starts you can't change it anymore.

By NO MEANS one shot selection.

Or do you mean that you have to pick the entire tourney in one shot?

Yeah, I meant the latter. I was in a hurry, leaving work, mis-clicked and couldn't immediately change it. Stopped after one bracket, posted here, went home. (Of course, once I change it back, that pick is doomed.)
