My heart is in deep sorrow for that. Had not the colony pod not being assimilated by CPU and had the people be picked up by the Hive were able to set up their bases instead of putting in some prisoner camps, the empty colony pod would not be occupied by some unknown planetary virus and the Hive coastle guard would not be forced to clear it. Such a waste of industrial resourced. I'm sure CPU would try your best to arrange a settlement for the people in your camps eventurally though.

Ah yes, planetary virusses can pop up at the most inconvenient times, I agree to that. How sure are you that it is contained now? For example Hive Coastal Guard did had contact with the colony pod, as had the unit which sterilized it. Aren't those in danger now?

An unknown planetary virus? CPU analysis of transmissions from the CP before it was destroyed is currently taking place. Preliminary results suggest that a virus of such severity as to necessitate the units immediate destruction would be so contagious as to put the executioners at danger.

Hive vessles in the area may have already been infected.
Who knows, the virus may have very well spread throughout the entire Hive...

The purification squads were eliminated by laser fire from a great distance as they reapproached their home bases, and the remains toasted with flamethrowers. There is no danger of infection.

But this is an unknown virus - you can not be sure.
CPU will continue to analyze this situation and determine the logical reaction. We would hate to have to "waste industrial resources".
