Spiffor certainly is up there, however he does lack a killer instinct. Something that is great at coming to a possibly better total solution or even a diplomatic solution, but not for wining the argument or even to drive his own point home.

I was meaning more that MtG doesn't stick around in a debates unless they are with people who are willing to make valid points, or want to listen to listen to counterpoints.

Poly debates are notorius for bald assertions, straw men, non sequitars and a host of other stupidities and fallacies that many people will not even bother attempting to address them. In MtG's case he doesn't address them, he often just fires and forgets with 'smart posts', and he's never to be seen in the 'debate' again.

I wasn't implying it was/is a bad quality to have, but we are talking about being the best debater, not the greatest human beeing.
If that were the case then - certainly on Poly' - he would definately win that competition.
