couldnt we just also have the next player play it 1.20, then the next player use 1.22?

i can resend my turn to maki 1.20, then she could load it in 1.22.
wouldnt that work? (1.20 loads in 1.22 i mean, right?)
or how about doing the version directories. it doesnt require double installation, all it requires is knowledge of copying and pasting, how to make a 'folder' and how to use windows explorer

you must of done something wrong then. I just did a test right now, from 1.15, then 1.20, and then 1.22.
it works as long as it is in the right order.
If its too much trouble though, i'd go for a restart, although i'd prefer saving the current state of the game
