Well, on the upside, we are all within 2 timezones of eachother now. Things may very well speed up.
Of course, as Paddy mentioned, this game is going at a good pace already. Lets see, 145 turns in about 4-1/2 months. That aint bad!
Oooh, just got the save sent to me,

Just thought I would play a single player game today. I got to 360 AD and decided to do a comparison. I was playing an easy game, so I set the diff to warlord. I think this is rather interesting.
Here is a screenshot:

I think it's rather interesting that in Monarch I was able to come so close to my warlord score. I wasn't really playing that hard, it was really just an easy game. But to be honest, I'm not sure I could have done much better.
A few differences between the way the two were played. The single player game was spent all the way up to 300 AD without meeting anyone. However, I played the Americans, and I discovered a ton of techs out of huts. Actually, only about 3 or 4 ancient techs were discovered the hard way.
Of course, in the PBEM game I was given about half of my cities by Paddy. This results in a much higher land area. However, in the single player game, I hit huge area of floodplains, resulting in about 5 cities over pop 7, one of which was pop 12. This is probably how I ended up with the 4.7mil pop.
Overall, I think I'm doing better in the Pbem game. I think this is a result of thinking each move over before making it. Of course, Paddy helped alot. In the pbem game, I'm making about the same amount of gold per turn as the single player.
What I have realized though is that I have not built near enough workers in the Pbem game. I only have half of what I should have for my main base, and none for my new base. I plan on changing this very soon.
Well, I just thought it was interesting, BTW, it is funny how Babylon is still the #1 city. Personally, I don't think it should be so, but perhaps it's the rather high culture.
Peace,
Dan O.

Oh, btw, how is that I am the highest in the % of world pop, but second in pop? I really find this quite strange. I don' t understand how this is mathematically possible.
Right now I'm about 3% higher than the next guy in % of world pop, yet in demographics it says that I'm second, what gives?
