Yes Vendetta comes and goes, the question is dose the Hive want this vendetta to stay or go? Your actions on the next turn will tell us, If the hive sends an acceptable peace offer then we will accept and end this Vendetta. On the other hand if the answer is that you want it to stay then this Vendetta will become a war and it will be at the Hives chossing.

I'm trying to say the Hive will only start a war if it feels threatened... Your behavoir may push the Hive to do somethig bad, which personally I would not like to see happen.

So, if you seriously want to avoid war with the Hive, just admit that you were in the wrong, and accept the loss of the CP.

Oh, and leave PEACE out of this too

Not facts.

Hive destroyed the CP and set the PEACE citizens free. Ask any PEACE citizen they will tell you how happy they were to see thier loved ones again.

We attacked the pod, so we can choose what we did when we attacked it. We set the PEACE citizens free after blasting a hole in the side of the CP, then airlifted them to safety.

Same. I got a PM from someone before that appeared not once, not twice but 3 times. All sent during the same minute too which is theoretically impossible due to the flood control, but there it was. Still, at least Poly hasn't died for quite some time - especially compared to say, a year ago.
