I meant that at the time, since it was German, I think it would've been shown as Strassburg (or with your fancy german double-s thing) on international maps (maybe not french ones )

This sounds sensible. In fact, the correct German spelling is with our fancy double-s thing 'ß'
It is called a ... sharp s and is used as a hissing s after long vowels (if anyone wants to know).

Korea is annexed to the Japanese Empire
Seoul was subject to a 12 hour bombardment by Imperial Navy battleships before lead elements of the 6th Imperial Marines stormed the beaches south and north of the city. After the beach-head was secured then Japanese troops from various divisions entered the city through it's port directly.

We will ask of the Russians not to interfere in our plans of creating a Japanese-Manchurian state, the area is directly in our sphere of influence.

There was in incident in lisbon where a cruiser took a wrong turn and mistakingly attacked the city. We hope to restore ties with the Independants next month.
